Pirates Hold Bucco Royale Scavenger Hunt

A chance to play Fortnite on the PNC Park scoreboard, tickets to our Social Media Suite, over $1,000 in partner gift cards, autographed hats, baseballs, and bobbleheads — on Saturday, our followers had the chance to win all of it!

Fans followed along all day with Bucco Royale (our own social scavenger hunt inspired by Fornite 👀) to six total locations in and around Pittsburgh ahead of our game vs. the Cubs on Saturday at PNC. Pierogies landed at PNC Bank, Sheetz, Dunkin Donuts, Primanti Bros., GetGo, and Eat’n Park with rare Fortnite llamas, emotes, and tons of pictures!

Here’s how it all went down — fans dropped at each location with us, took a picture with our pierogy, tweeted the picture, and were entered to win our Legendary Loot grand prizes! The catch? Winners were chosen based on the winner of Saturday night’s Great Pittsburgh Pierogy Race, meaning that to have the best chance to win… fans had to drop at all SIX locations! ⬇️

Our Bucco Royale day got started at PNC Bank at 9:30am with Cheese Chester, followed by some awesome breakfast at Sheetz with Bacon Burt. Our travels continued to Dunkin Donuts, Primanti Bros., and GetGo, all the way to our final landing spot at Eat’n Park with Jalapeno Hannah!

Over 100 fans dropped at each location with us, but only one pierogy could win the Pierogy Race — Pizza Penny, who dropped at GetGo during Bucco Royale, won Saturday night’s race!
